So you know how to knit…now what? Tackle the ever-coveted sock in this 3-part workshop, where you’ll expand upon the fundamentals of knitting! You’ll embark on knitting in the round, learn simple decreases and increases, shaping techniques, heel turning, and finishing knits professionally and expand your pattern-reading skills. You’ll walk away with a lovely warm pair of socks, which always makes a perfect holiday gift.
Whether you’re relatively new to knitting and are comfortable with the basics, or a seasoned knitter wanting to make something more than scarves…this class is for you!
This is an adventurous beginners class, but not intended for people who haven’t knit before (Ideal for people who’ve taken my Beginners Knit & Hat class!). Students are expected to already know how to knit, cast on and cast off with some degree of comfort.
I have been knitting for over 16 years, and taught my first class at age 9 (no joke!). I use knitting as self-care and meditation (and to strengthen my hands for yoga!), and can't wait to share my love of knitting with you!
Classes are limited to 6 people for maximum one-on-one time with me (and maximum learning and minimal frustration!). Price does not include materials.
