"A child said What is the grass? fetching it to me with full hands; / How could I answer the child? I do not know what it is any more than he. / I guess it must be the flag of my disposition, out of hopeful green stuff woven." ~ from Walt Whitman's 'Leaves of Grass'
Spring is beginning to awaken on the West Coast, and natural world is a brilliant, bright green. Feeling inspired, I gathered up handfuls of fluffy greens and began to card, smoothing the wildness of bright greens, forest, celery and lemon into a joyful tonal lime green color. These fibers were solar dyed using food-grade dyes.
A high-fiber diet just got a little easier...and much sweeter ;)
These luxuriously fine batts are ready to grow up and become beautiful yarn! I have a passion for sustainability & animal rights, and love natural textiles.
Allergy Information: Pet & Smoke free home. I have artificial-scent based & latex allergies, so you won't be finding any of THAT in my batts. I make everything as I would for myself.
